Just for Kids Foundation’s 9th annual Glee High School Showdown raised an incredible $109,000!
Over 450 guests were in attendance on November 25, 2018, as ten high schools showcased their creative talent and charitable spirits.
All proceeds will help purchase high-priority medical equipment, and support initiatives that improve the quality of care for patients of the Montreal Children’s Hospital. To-date, JFK has provided over $11 million of equipment, touching almost every department at the hospital. That is more than 250,000 children treated and 1,500 healthcare professionals who are better equipped to care for their patients.
We are extremely grateful to Bialik High School, ECS, Herzliah High School, John Rennie High School, Kuper Academy, Royal West Academy, St. Thomas High School, The Study, Trafalgar School for Girls and Vincent Massey Collegiate. The students were truly outstanding!
The audience enjoyed the energized performances as well as our hosts’ extraordinary enthusiasm (Catherine Verdon-Diamond of Breakfast Television Montreal and veteran Glee host Corey Wolofsky).The excitement in the theatre was electric and it was all possible thanks to our hard-working volunteers, committee members, sponsors and supporters.
